Spine-chilling

Hmmm…today was quite an interesting day excluding the hectic study routine obviously. Today’s special event was the visit to the National Theater. As you all know, this is the place where operas, plays, and so fourth take place. So, the guide took us for a little tour around the theater as well as the dressing rooms and the store where all the costumes are kept. According to the guide, there are approximately 1 million pieces of costumes (including hats, headgear, etc.) in that store and that was crazy. There were so many costumes ranging from the early Roman Empire days, Gothic, Renaissance, and the modern days. Haha..cool heh.

Then, we proceeded for a play entitled ‘Heimgegangen’ . It means pass away literally. This play was about some man whose wife was his mother and he had no clue about it till his wife’s last breath(well, she told him at that moment). There’s a little irony where his wife died of cancer and he, a smoker (he smoked as part of the play and it stunk) had no cancer. It was kinda spooky because there was a coffin with a picture of his Mary Jones, smacked right in the middle of the stage. Really gives me the creeps. It’s just an extremely short summary. There is more to it but I’m lazy too type..hehe.

Sorry got no picture la. Audiences were not allowed to take pictures as it might irritate the performers.

By the way, again, here are three pictures of a place where grapes are grown for wine production. (You call wine Sekt in German)

Grape trees.

Nice view.

Place where wine bottles are stored. Some are really old (more than 40 years old).
