Hmmm.....so, how was X'mas for me?
In a nutshell, AWESOME!!
The interesting part was, entrance fee for most of the museums in London were Zero Pounds!
So, where did I go....where did I go......
National Art Gallery
Victoria & Albert Museum
Science Museum
Natural History Museum
Imperial War Museum
Greenwich Royal Observatory
National Maritime Museum
All were just impressive! Best was the Imperial War Museum. To all my war fanatic friends, I recommend this museum to you guys. Spending an entire day there is what you need. Seriously.
Besides that, I went to Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, and Saint Pauls' Cathedral. Snapped losts of cool pics.
Kensington Palace was also part of the itinerary. It's okay.
River Thames Cruise was fun too! The ferry took me to Greenwich.
By the way, going to Ripley's Believe It Or Not would be a rip-off. 22.50 Pounds for a student.
Want to find out about some interesting incidents during my trip there?
I burnt 25 pounds on clubbing. By the way, I've never before used this amount of money on a very single occasion like this.
Spotted 2 Malaysian made cars in London. A Proton Savvy and an old year 1985 Proton Saga whisking through the street of Victoria. Cool ey...
By the way, I noticed that there are many 'Squares' in London. Something intriguing.
Missed the bus to the airport. Wasn't so bad as it seemed. I took the next bus and arrived at the airport at a fairly early time. The gate for my flight was not open upon arrival.
Owh! Chinese food was nice! Ate roasted pork, roasted duck, crispy duck(crispy version of cooked duck eaten with pancakes), char siu, char kuay teow, lontong, hokkien noodles, yin yong noodles, singapore noodles and a couple more which I do not recall. Owh yeah, teh tarik was good too. ;)
Food at typical british pubs was just ok. Nothing spectacular. Go if you want to enjoy the atmosphere. Don't go if it's all about the food. I had fish and chips and roast of the day. It was chicken. Mind you, I shared these two meals with my cousin, Jo Yee.
This trip is fun, it's memorable, and it's just worth the time there.
;)
